A Word From Our
Founder & President
Dear partners and friends,
As you know, our ministry exists to see women confidently step into their God-given calling and view their work as meaningful to the kingdom of God.
It’s our privilege to produce content that is applicable and inspiring for women from all walks of life, in all age categories, and in all stages of their work lives, from the time they are just beginning to dream about what God would lead them to do, all the way to retirement and beyond.
The God who created galaxies and calls each star by name also formed each woman on the planet in His image (Is 40:26, Gen 1:27). And for those who belong to Christ, He has given them an eternal, kingdom-infused purpose that He planned long ago for them to walk in (Eph 2:10).
Our goal at Women & Work is to see women move forward into their next work assignment from God and fulfill all He has called them to in that space. This past year has been full of evidences of God’s grace as we have seen this work accomplished.

Women & Work events seek to connect with women in-person to encourage them through biblical conversation and connect them with other women seeking to view their work as meaningful to the Kingdom of God. In the 2021-2022 fiscal year, Women & Work exhibited at The Denver Institute for Faith & Work RESET gathering, Cultivate Women’s Conference at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, The Gospel Coalition Women’s Conference and partnered with the Southern Baptist Convention Women’s Leadership Team to co-host the SBC Women’s Session.

Finances
Since its inception, Women & Work revenues have increased annually and expenses have remained within budget. In the 2021-2022 fiscal year, revenues totaled $21,000 with expenses of $15,000. Additionally, in-kind revenues for the 2021-2022 fiscal year totaled $1,500. The organization utilizes a balanced budget and is debt free. The Board of Directors is pleased with the financial management of the team as the organization continues to expand.

2023 Strategy
Women & Work will launch a Scholarship in March 2023 to benefit one woman, selected by a committee, seeking to continue her studies or sharpen her skills. Applications open January 2023.
The Women & Work book, Women & Work: Bearing God’s Image and Joining in His Mission Through Our Work, is scheduled to be published June 2023 by B&H publishing.
Women & Work will implement seasonal giving campaigns including a Giving Tuesday campaign to raise funds to support resources and the Scholarship Fund.
